Company Profile

Formed in 1994, Knightsbridge Management Associates is a UK Management and Business Skills Training Consultancy based in the East Midlands.

Our reputation and success has been built on the provision of high quality, affordable and focused management and business skills training across the public, private, not for profit and voluntary sectors.

Whilst comfortable operating in any business sector our specialisation is in local government, the NHS and voluntary organisations.

Almost all of our new business comes through recommendation from existing customers.

Initially the business focus was on the provision of reliable advice on human resource issues, small payrolls and accurate and up to date personnel policies and procedures. Whilst we still offer these services, training now accounts for 80% of our work with performance management advice taking up much of the remainder.

All of our in-house workshops are individually tailored to meet specific customer requirements. We never commence any programme without first visiting you and confirming your needs. The emphasis of all of our workshops, both in-house and open, is to provide participants with enjoyable training, which is both easy to understand and as jargon free as possible.

Biographical Information

Our Associates are all highly skilled in their own particular fields; each has many years of managerial experience and all are members of professional management bodies. All take pride in the knowledge that they provide our customers with the skills required to make individual careers, and therefore the organisation, successful. We are particularly delighted to have been joined in 2005 by Jacky Holmes who is very well known and respected in East Midlands training and HR circles and also by Jill Dyer in 2007. Associates are:

 

Richard Knightsbridge: MBA, DipIM, MCMI. (Director). Richard has many years experience in training, human resource management, organisational communications, quality, project and general management, with a background in the private sector and further education. He now works predominantly in the public sector, particularly local government, the NHS and education. He provides training and advice on HR, and general/performance management, business skills, personal effectiveness and NVQs. Richard is also a DfES accredited external advisor to schools on performance management.


Ken Lowles: BSc(Econ), MEd, MCIPD, Dip.Pers.Mgt, PGCE. (Lead Consultant). After a number of years managing a business Ken switched profession and worked in secondary, further and adult education, in both face-to-face and management capacities. He specialises in the community, voluntary and not for profit sectors. Ken also manages a voluntary agency and has been a project assessor for the National Lottery Charities Board.  

                                                                                                                                           Jacky Holmes: BA (Hons), MCIPD. (Lead Consultant). Jacky has over 20 years experience in both HR and training and development in both the public and private sectors; gained at senior manager level and in training practitioner roles. She has wide experience of training needs analysis, policy and strategy development and Investors in People. Jacky has personally designed and managed several high profile projects, including design delivery and evaluation of organisation wide training, management and leadership development programmes.

 

Jill Dyer: BA (Hons), MA. (Lead Consultant). Jill has over 15 years experience as a highly regarded facilitator in training and development and has successfully worked in the public, voluntary and private sectors. She has wide experience in the design and delivery of training to meet all needs. Particular personal attributes are her common sense and excellent communication skills which enable her to make and develop positive connections with others. She also has an enthusiastic and positive attitude and strongly believes that the enjoyment of the learning process will maximise the benefits. Jill has particular skills in people related areas and is particularly well known for her expertise in relation to equality and diversity, conflict resolution and negotiation.
